yes indeed a huge problem , treaties , which we have none of , but in canada and elsewhere u do , but in my opinion they are always pretty bogus anyways , as if a invading colonisaing power will ver really give up ground .. crown land is a con.... cause as we KNOW NO ONE owns land , the whole resltionship is upset right there and sets up this idea of someone in authority owning land cause they took it by force and deviance.

and be especially aware of so called environmental groups as well , national parks etc , as in many cases they are just getting thier foot in the door so they have control also and then do things like try instill some idea that " wilderness is PRISTINE AND UNTOUCHED AND UNLIVED WITH " WHICH IS ALSO A LIE.

then they will ask you to draw lines on maps to work out a particualr clans claim and percentages and then this becomes an issue of " WHO is the " traditional owners " and often this then is mixed up with who THEY recognise , which sometimes means who amongst us has made a deal with them, whether its by signing away future rights for our children or in other cases causing further divisions betwenn our mobs by setting up people over others and making some people the only ones who end up then with JObs and economic privelege as a bribe ( they dont call it that )... we have this situation here and its causing so many problems ...
its land rights and ocean rights and its only when it suits them and now they getting smarter and making what they call mutal obligation schemes , and this means the companies have to give something back to the communtiies , sounds good , but in fact is just not much fifferent to the old here is some blankets ( with small pox ) for this land and bugger off now....

crown land means owned by the crown , the king or queen ... how is that possible? tell me that ...

we never had these so called boundaries as lines on a map for our clans anyway, even if we were responsible for certain areas , other groups also passed through and used watering holes and came for ceremonies and had a realtionship to the places , we shared and knew how to do this... and people had respect and knew how to treat things....

here , we have many camps on this issue , but i beleive we never conceeeded our soverignty and so therefore we are still claiming this... and will till tis recognised , which may be never ... but its the action of protest and this brings awareness, we should not deal on their terms , their law , no way....

no deal is a real deal with this mob , its always about money and profit and if they think they can get it by bribes , jobs, casinos by lies , by building you a schoool , buy calling the place a native name or by making a big deal of a elder , then they will and if we are dumb enuff to allow it without protest , they are even happier.... in the end we all lose out , not just native people, but all people , cause they ( the govt ) of this world have one motive , and its n entropic veiw , which is use what u can as much as u can and get as much as u can so u can sit back and be the MAN.... own people , land things and be rich and travel and think your better than others ... cause they think this is ok... as long as they re plant a few trees and as long as noone comes along fishing or walking with some dogs , which god help us , ruin their idea of pristine untouched wilderness , terra nullius , yes indeed , they know what they are doing m they have learnt to change strategies and know some of us will sell out to them... and when we dont they will just make a law and take it anyways .
we have ahistory of them moving us from lands and then onto reserves and then even moving us from the reserves missions cause they foudn some oil or gold or uranium or whatever.... however we have something we can use , which is our voices of protest and the media at times and if we stay uniteed as a group we can stop things and have... we here have tent embassies and its a growing movement , we have wonsome small victories and with the help of white folks as well , be smart use whoever u can to help the cause . its the only thing i beleive u can do , active resisitance, it comes at a cost for sure and even life ... if its worht it , if you really beleive in what your doing then others will help.

set up a web site , call meetings , make a film , write songs , tell people the issue and fight it ... we have learnt some things as well.... use them.
