Hello everyone ,

I am an Indigenous AUSTRALIAN, I am looking for links within NATIVE / FIRST NATIONS , communities , colleges , universities ,projects, that I would be able to come and observe or participate in as part of my reserach and learning for my PHD . THE topic is about resilience , renewal , reclaiming , healing , of cultural , community and individual wellness , through creative expressions , such as camps , wilderness projects , drug and alcohol healing , healing from traumas ect..... or through individuals work as artists , dancers whatver... I wish to make a documentary in the end that shows pride , strenght , overcoming struggles ect that will inspire our peoples and esp youth to know they can succeed and live good lives . I also want to find out about projects esp that may then have implications for projects here with our people and also maybe can lead to cross cultural exchanges for others.

I can offer my own learning and culture to share as well as workshops lectures as a guest , and films from here ..... if anyone here can help me make links that would be great , i need to do this soon as i am putting in for a grant to come over in 2006 , mid year, and would need to receive letters of invite from the projects or communities , elders or university programs , anything esp based around inidgenous healing , pyschology , or the arts as healing. let me know.
