school discrimination

Anonymous — Tue, 01/20/2009 - 14:49

Hello

My name is Dean and I am the proud step father of 3 half native american childrenages 10 and the twins who are 7.

We moved to northern ontario almost 2 years ago and seem to have our children (what I feel is) discriminated against.

It seems every few weeks they are being sent home with a lice problem..granted they have a nit free program in our catholic school board.

but I know that the principal (who checks their hair) allows other children to stay at school even though they have nits.

Yesterday they were sent home after the principal called and said she found some nits in one of our girls and a live one in one daughter and our

son. Though she made it a point to say that she got them out and we will  not find anything.

I am getting very frustrated with this and I wonder what legal steps I can take against this discrimination.

I must also state that our children are the only ones with native heritage and they are the only minority children at the school.

thanks for your time.

sincerly

Dean
